PeopleSoft Functional Consultant

We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Functional Consultant to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. This role is ideal for professionals who excel at translating complex requirements into efficient, scalable system configurations while ensuring seamless implementation and user adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Requirement Analysis:
    Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Functional Solution Design:
    Develop comprehensive functional specifications and design solutions within the PeopleSoft ecosystem that enhance operational efficiency.
  • System Configuration & Optimization:
    Lead the configuration and customization of PeopleSoft modules, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with business processes.
  • Implementation Support:
    Drive end-to-end implementation activities, including testing, deployment, and post-go-live support to ensure smooth system transitions.
  • User Training & Documentation:
    Conduct training sessions, create user guides, and empower teams to effectively utilize PeopleSoft applications.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    Work closely with technical teams, project managers, and business users to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    Identify system enhancements and recommend process improvements to maximize ROI and system usability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience working as a PeopleSoft Functional Consultant
  • Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft modules (such as HCM, FSCM, or Campus Solutions)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in system implementation and support projects
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with multiple PeopleSoft implementations
  • Knowledge of integration tools and reporting systems
  • Certification in PeopleSoft modules (preferred but not mandatory)
